How do I even begin to describe William Fitzsimmons?
Let’s take it back to the beginning of my most incredible night, by far.
It all started when my boyfriend and I finally found the venue he was performing in. We were completely lost not knowing where to park. So there we were driving around the building, when suddenly we see two gentlemen outside next to the building. We started driving towards them when my boyfriend points out that it was Fitzsimmons. As we drove by them he called out his name, he turned around and waved at us. We drove off amazed. My boyfriend then pulled over, put his car in reverse and drove back to him. We both get off the car, shake his hand and are just as excited as a 12 year old meeting Justin Beiber! We drove off completely star-struck. And that was just the beginning!
Opener: amazing!
Finally, this god of mine got on stage and rocked the night away, it was just incredibly beautiful. I couldn’t help but get knots in my throat. He was so personal with the crowd. Felt like I was having a one on one conversation with him about his life. He however, was balancing out the negative and positive because let me tell you for every sad song there was a funny joke hiding inside of him. For a second I didn’t know if I was there to see him play songs or tell jokes, but he is one hilarious man!!! Could not stop laughing more than half the time I was there. Wish I had recorded everything and just watch it every time I get sad.
Anyway, It’s going to be very difficult to top my Friday night with William Fitzsimmons. VERY difficult.
Haven’t blogged in a while…
—but I’m back on here to share my amazing night last night. I had such a great time with my lovely boyfriend and his younger brother at the Rebelution ‘Peace of Mind’ tour show. Openers were Pep Love and The Green. Both were so good but OMG The Green blew my mind! UH-mazing. Usually with openers I tend to wonder off after their 2 first songs because I just want to listen to the band i paid to see but for a while it was like I had paid to just see The Green. I’d LOVE to see them again.
Finally, it was some time for Rebelution!! These guys, I can’t even begin to explain how much they ruled last night. Amazing would be the least to say. They seriously know how to put on a great show.. You know how sometimes performers always give a small little speech or talk in between songs? Don’t get me wrong, I love it when they express their thoughts to the crowd but it’s also nice to just have the flow of songs going and that’s what rebelution was all about last night. Hardly wasted time talking and mainly just played. Not to mention they played the good old songs.
Anyway, overall I can’t put together all the right words to explain last night. I was a happy camper :)

So glad to have had spent New Years with him. To spend the first day of the year together was amazing and I hope for more to come for us. Could not have had a better new year than with him and my family.
Not to mention I had my first new years kiss at the stroke of midnight. Scratch that off my bucket list.
